When I first heard of InterRailing (or EuRail for those from outside Europe), there were unwelcome flashes of sweaty summers, rucksacks filled with bags of wrinkled underwear and t-shirts and slumming it in low-tier hostel with no Wi-Fi – don’t get me wrong, that can be an extremely enlightening and soul-searching experience, but it’s not exactly the relaxing getaway my metropolitan heart desperately needs.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am not a morning person (the furthest from, actually) so this summer I’m challenging myself to make the most of my mornings. There’s a few ways of making this easier and I’m certain that by following these tips, I’ll be a step closer to becoming the productive, glowy being I’ve always dreamed about (don’t worry, you’re allowed to join me!).
