It’s been a while since I last posted, which I totally apologise for (I’ve been adjusting to university, whoop whoop!), but I wanted to update you guys on the last instalment of the InterRail series. The earlier posts focused on preparing for your InterRail trip and now that I’ve finally experienced it for myself, I thought I’d share with you some things that I wish I knew before the journey (some of which I learned the hard way!)

Welome to the second installment of the InterRail series where I’ll be sharing with you how to plan for your InterRail or EuRail trip (I can only speak from my personal experience so you may find that not all of these aaspects may be identical to your situation or you may just want to do things differently!).

When I first heard of InterRailing (or EuRail for those from outside Europe), there were unwelcome flashes of sweaty summers, rucksacks filled with bags of wrinkled underwear and t-shirts and slumming it in low-tier hostel with no Wi-Fi – don’t get me wrong, that can be an extremely enlightening and soul-searching experience, but it’s not exactly the relaxing getaway my metropolitan heart desperately needs.
